Mysuru: The Annual Feast of the Infant Jesus Cathedral on Hunsur Road will be celebrated from Jan 6 to 14. Msgr. George Alukka, Vicar General, Diocese of Mandya, will hoist the flag at 6.30 pm on Saturday, followed by the Holy Mass and Novena. Fr. Joseph Thekkekarott MST will be the main celebrant for the Holy Mass and Novena at 8 am on Sunday.

There will be Holy Mass and Novena at 6.30 pm everyday from Jan. 8 to 12. Fr. Saji Pariyappanal, Finance Officer, Diocese of Mandya, will celebrate the Holy Mass and Novena at 6.30 pm on Jan.13 followed by the Eucharistic Procession.

On Jan. 14, the Main Feast Day, there will be Holy Mass at 7 am. Rt. Rev. Dr. Antony Kariyil, the Bishop of Mandya will be the Main celebrant for the Solemn High Mass in Malayalam at 10.30 am. There will be mass feeding at 12.30 pm. Rt. Rev. Dr. K. A. William, the Bishop of Mysore, will celebrate the Solemn High Mass in Kannada at 4.30 pm followed by the grand candle light procession in honour of Infant Jesus in colourful chariot with bandset and shinkarimela to the Ring Road Junction, Hinkal. Shinkarmela performance and fireworks display will be held at 7.30 pm. Malayalam drama “Kudumbanadhante Shradhakki” will be staged at 8 pm.
