Anweshane, learn Science by doing at Arivu

July 10, 2019

Mysuru: Arivu Education and Cultural Trust, Mysuru, is conducting a Science Orientation Programme title ‘Anweshane – Learn Science by Doing.’

The main aim is to expose children of age 12 to 15 years to the basic concepts of Science through activities and foster a sense of inquisitiveness.

This involves allowing the students to approach experiments on a hands-on basis and to be familiar and comfortable with the process and to associate its efforts with the results obtained. This helps the students have an ownership and thus greater interest over the activity they perform.

All activities are based on a deductive way of approaching science in contrast to an                      inductive way.

The programme will be held every Saturdays from 2 pm to 4 pm in Arivu School, Lingambudhipalya, Srirampura.

Those who wish to be part of the programme as a student or volunteer can contact Dr. M.C. Manohara on Mob: 99012-25074.
