B.V. Javaregowda (67), an Advocate, President of Indo-Tibetan Friendship Society, former Vice-President of Tobacco Board and a resident of Periyapatna, passed away yesterday in the town.

Former Taluk Reporter of ‘Prajavani’ Kannada Daily, who had identified himself with the Congress party, Javaregowda leaves behind his wife Sheela, two sons and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held on Thursday at 11.30 am, after his wife and children arrive from abroad.
