Mysuru:  R.N. Ramesh, employee of CSIR-CFTRI, Mysuru, participated in 55+ category of All India Senior Tennis Championship held at Surat (Gujarat) recently and bagged Doubles title.

Ramesh, along with Pal Manohar, Guntur (AP), exhibited a wonderful game of play, in semi-final defeating Rawath, Bengaluru (Kar) and his partner  Kakkad Mahendra, Baroda of (Gujrat) by 7-5, 6-0.

In thrilling finals, they defeated top seed Yogesh Shah, Ahmadabad (Gujrat)  and Mehar Prakash, Hyderabad (AP) by 7-5, 4-6,10-8 to win the Doubles Championship.
