Bahuroopi-2026: Streetplays to attract theatre buffs

Senior theatre person and Rajyotsava awardee Mime Ramesh beating a goblet drum to inaugurate Bahuroopi Baba Saheb streetplays in front of Chikkagadiyara (Dufferin Clock Tower) on Sayyaji Rao Road in city  this morning as Rangayana Director Satish Tiptur, Department of Kannada and Culture Joint Director V.N. Mallikarjunaswamy, Rangayana Deputy Director Dr. M.D. Sudarshan, Mysuru City Corporation Environment Engineer Mythri, former Rangayana senior artiste Ramu, Krishna Janamana, Krishnamurthy Talkad, Yoganand and others look on. Various troupes will stage streetplays across different locations in city as a publicity activity about Bahuroopi National Theatre Festival being held at Rangayana from tomorrow. [See also Page 10]
