Bannimantap residents facing acute shortage of water

May 6, 2022

Sir,

We would like to bring to the  notice of Mysuru City Corporation authorities, the local MLA and Ward No.17 Corporator that we are facing acute water shortage in Bannimantap Extension since the last five years.

The water supply has been extremely poor making our lives miserable. Quite often, water supply is so scanty that it is not sufficient for the day-to-day use such as cooking, washing, etc.

Sometimes water is supplied only for half an hour and sometimes we have to wait the whole day for water to trickle down from the taps.

It pains to say that we the residents of Bannimantap Extension, opposite KSRTC depot, are denied our share of precious water even after paying taxes sincerely.

Though the new pipeline was laid one year back still no connection has been given.

Hope the MCC Commissioner will direct the officers of Vani Vilas Water Works (VVWW) to take necessary action in this regard at the earliest.

Both the elected representatives are in Deep Slumber. When they wake up they would just look to fend for themselves and not give any thought for the purpose they are elected for. Water supply and the condition of the roads in the N R Constituency is a glaring example of their integrity.
