Bhakti Sudha Monthly Music at BVB

Mysore/Mysuru: As part of monthly music programme, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB), Mysuru Kendra, has organised a Bhakti Sudha programme by  Keerthan Holla (vocal) accompanied by Kaushik Bhat on tabla, Tejas Katoti on harmonium and Satwik Hegde  on taala at BVB auditorium in Vijayanagar 1st Stage, on July 20 at 6 pm.

The 131st Cultural Outreach Programme is held in association with Infosys Foundation and BVB, Bengaluru.

Keerthan Holla, a versatile singer from Bengaluru, was born and brought up in Mangaluru and inclined to music at an early age. Under the guidance of Pt. K.M. Dass, he began his formal Hindustani classical training.

Currently he is undergoing classical training under the renowned classical vocalist Pt. Parameshwar  Hegde in Bengaluru.

After winning titles in local musical competitions in Mangaluru, he got his breakthrough by winning one of the prestigious reality shoes Zee sa re ga ma pa- Season 15 in 2019 which opened his horizon to the musical world.

He made his singing debut in films with the song “Aagide Aagide” from the film 99 and several other films such as Avatara Purusha, Trivikrama, Kanneri, Veda, Love 360 to name a few.

He has also worked with renowned music directors such as Kadri Manikant, Arjun Janya, Charan Raj, Guru Kiran and V. Manohar. He has also been working with one of the prominent music directors in the field of classical and contemporary music Praveen D. Rao.

Keerthan  is an A grade artiste in the field of light music category at All India Radio.
