Biker killed in goods vehicle accident

Mysuru: A two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot when a goods vehicle hit his moped at Varakod Gate on Mysuru-T. Narasipur Road last evening.

The deceased has been identified as Mahadeva (50), of Nadanahalli village.

Mahadeva, who had gone to his agricultural land at Chatnahalli village, was returning to Nadanahalli on his TVS moped (KA-09-EB-7203) when the goods vehicle (KA-17-A-9864), which came in the opposite direction, rammed into the moped killing Mahadeva on the spot.

Varuna Police, who reached the spot, conducted mahazar, registered a case and have shifted the body to MMC&RI mortuary in Mysuru for post-mortem.
