BJP fanning violence in State: CM

July 14, 2017

Mysuru:  Accusing the BJP of fanning violence in the State, Chief Minister Siddharamaiah lashed out at the BJP saying that the party always wanted to keep communal issues alive for political gains. He was speaking to press persons at Mandakalli Airport here this morning on a two-day tour of Mysuru to launch various works.

He said the BJP, which failed to build the Ram temple as promised, is now working towards keeping the issue alive.

Referring to BJP targetting former IPS Officer Kempaiah, Siddharamaiah said Kempaiah was only an Advisor to the Home Minister and not the Minister.

Reacting to the alleged corruption in the Prisons Department, the CM said he had ordered a probe into corruption in Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara Jail. The Government will take necessary action based on the probe report.

Referring to the war of words between two IPS Officers of the Prisons Department, Siddharamaiah said it was not correct on the part of senior Police Officers to speak to the media. Taking exception to DIG (Prisons) D. Roopa repeatedly speaking to the media, he said that a notice has been served to the DIG.

Expressing his ire on MP Pratap Simha’s allegations that close associates of CM were behind the killing of RSS activist Sharath Madiwala, Siddharamaiah said the MP was making baseless allegations, which shows his political immaturity.

Claiming that the BJP would not return to power in the State, the CM dismissing Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s statement that the State was losing out on investments due to unrest,  said that law and order situation in the State was fine.

Maintaining that the release of water was in compliance of the SC order, the CM asserted that the Congress Government was always committed to the welfare of the farming community.

Stating that the State Government has submitted a detailed report to the Centre on Mekedatu project, the CM said the Government was ready with relevant data and statistics if the Centre sought any clarification on the project. District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, Water Resources Minister M.B. Patil, MP R. Dhruvanarayan, MyLac Chairman H.A. Venkatesh, MUDA Chairman D. Dhruvakumar, KEA Chairman Siddaraju, DC D. Randeep and other officials were present.

This man seems to think that Karnataka people are morons and don’t know the truth! For him, who is guilty seems less important that which party he longs to! Obviously , he tries to paint the picture that all the criminals belong to BJP! Today, majority of the mainstream media is bought over. By Congress and their affiliates and incapable of reporting the truth! Everything seems to be polarized in one direction, all bad things happening are reported as the handiwork of BJP aka Modi they stated the intolerance and ran with it for 2 years! When they lost the elections, they realized, that story didn’t stick ! Now they are running a story everywhere with Gow Rakshak beating others and it almost appears like very Hindu had turned gow rakshak trying to torture innocent Muslims! I have never seen any gaurakshaks myself, yet, if you watch public tv, looks like every one I meet must be one!
The reality is, every minor incident in a remote village, a girl eloping either a boy or a tree climber falling from a tree or even a fog bite , the television networks try to show it as a breaking news and call panelists belonging to all parties and they fight others with their version of the story. So, a pickpocket beaten by public will appear on the media as a communal event! Even an accident can become a Gow rakshat story with a commentary that it is the state of Modi’S india
It is necessary that CM should be fair in punishing the actual culprits rather than using wish list and bad mouth BJP got political reasons!
