District Kannada Sahitya Parishat together with Rajendra Printers and Publishers have organised a programme on Nov.24 at 10.30 am at District Kannada Sahitya Bhavan in city for the release of the book ‘Bayalada Hampi’ written by Dr. Kumar Ankanahalli. Disclosing this at a press meet in city, Parishat President Dr. Y.D. Rajanna said that the programme will be inaugurated by MLA Anil Chikkamadu. The book will be released by Department of Heritage, Archaeology and Museums Commissioner T. Venkatesh.  Dr. Mysuru Krishnamurthy will speak on the book. ZP President Parimala Shyam, Raitha Sangha President Badagalapura Nagendra, Management Specialist Ravi Hanch, Samvahana Trust President D.N. Lokappa and author Dr. Kumar Ankanahalli will be present.

The book portrays the fall of the Vijayanagar empire covering topics on culture, politics, social and religious factors.
