Mysore/Mysuru: Rev. Dr. Dayananda Prabhu’s book titled ‘Miracle Worker: St. Antony of Padua’ was released by Most Rev. Dr. Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of Mysore, at a large gathering at the Catholic Centre in Bannimantap on Dec. 3. This book in Kannada deals with the saint’s life, preaching, missionary work and miracles.

St. Antony has a large followers of devotees throughout the world. This is the first book in Kannada. The author Dr. Dayananda Prabhu has written and published 20 books, both small and voluminous, on religious and secular matters. He served as Visiting Professor to the Chair in Christianity, University of Mysore, for four years. He has also written many articles in Kannada to various periodicals.
