Burglars steal cash, DVRs from school

Mysore/Mysuru: Burglars, who broke into Sumukha Educational Institutions in Hebbal 2nd Stage, have decamped with cash and Digital Video Recorders (DVRs).

In his complaint, Principal Y.M. Karthik has stated that the burglars have stolen Rs. 95,000 cash and two DVRs from the school.

On Aug. 6, Karthik left after locking all the rooms and two iron gates of the School and at about 6.45 am. He received a call from the security staff  next day, about the locks of school gates broke opened.

Upon rushing to school, he found the door of Admin chamber open and almirah forcibly opened and metal cash locker kept inside missing. On inspecting the staff room, he found the DVR, cash kept in the almirah in another office too missing. The cash kept in almirah of his chamber on the first floor of the school building and another DVR were also missing.

Hebbal Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
