Sir,
Mysuru is gradually developing as a Tier-3 city in India. It is the third major city in Karnataka after Bengaluru and Hubballi. Cities across India are developing at a rapid pace and by 2030, India is expected to become the third-largest economy in the world. (We too need to progress as the nation is progressing).
Mysuru is among the top five tourist destinations in India. The proposal to shift the sub-urban bus stand from B.N. Road to Bannimantap is a good idea, as Bannimantap Road is broad and well-suited for such a facility.
KSRTC authorities could develop a large bus stand of international standards in Bannimantap, boosting tourism and accelerating Mysuru’s growth. This new bus stand would also reduce traffic congestion on the busy B.N. Road, enhancing overall urban mobility. Employment and development opportunities will naturally follow, further strengthening Mysuru’s position as a thriving city.
