The city’s Jain Education Society will be celebrating ‘Grandfather-Grandmother’s Day’ (Ajja-Ajjiyara Dina) at Mahaveer Vidya Mandir, Srirampura, the date of which will be announced shortly. On that day, three Centenarian grandfather and grandmothers (selection will be based on higher age) will be felicitated. Eligible elderly persons, aged over 100 years and residing in the city or outskirts, can register along with a copy of their Aadhaar Card.
