The Department of AYUSH, Government of Karnataka, Government Ayurveda Research Centre (GARC), Mysuru, in association with Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research (SJICSR), Mysuru, has organised a day-long National Conference ‘Cardio Yoga Summit 2025 – Healing Diabetes Through Yogic Integration’ at SJICSR Auditorium on KRS Road in city tomorrow (July 14). The Conference will be inaugurated at 9 am by Vipin Singh, Commissioner of AYUSH, Government of Karnataka. Dr. Ravindranath, Director, SJICSR, Bengaluru, will preside. Dr. M.A. Shekar, VC, Adichunchanagiri University, will deliver the keynote address. Dr. K.S. Rangappa, former VC, University of Mysore, will be the chief guest. Dr. Raghavendra Rao, Director, CCRYN, Delhi, will be the guest of honour.
The day-long event will feature Artistic Yoga, Yoga Dance and Panel Discussions. Valedictory of the Conference will be held at 4.30 pm same day with Dr. Harish Babu, Deputy Director – Yoga, delivering the valedictory address. Dr. K.S. Radhakrishna Ramarao, Principal, Government Ayurveda Medical College (GAMC), Mysuru and Dr. Srivatsa, Principal, Govt. Nature Cure and Yoga Medical College (GNCYMC), Mysuru, will be the guests of honour. Dr. K.S. Sadananda, Professor and Medical Superintendent, SJICSR, Mysuru, will preside. Dr. L.N. Shenoy, Assistant Director, GARC, Mysuru, is the Organising Secretary.
