Chottemada S. Appaiah (Appaji), retired Range Forest Officer and a resident of Villa No. 10, G9, Vihaa (Next to Kalyani Nagar Arch), Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 2nd Phase, passed away yesterday in city. He was 86.

A native of B. Shettigeri village in Ponnampet taluk of Kodagu district, he leaves behind children Harish Subbaiah and Kandanda Mala Biddappa and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held tomorrow (Aug. 23) at 12 noon at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage.
