Clear obstruction of footpath on Dewan’s Road for safety

January 3, 2025

Sir,

This is to highlight a pressing public concern regarding the obstruction of the footpath in front of the Devaraja Traffic Police Station on Dewan’s Road.

The footpath, intended for the safe movement of pedestrians, has been blocked by unattended barricades left along the walkway.

As a result, students, senior citizens and other pedestrians are forced to walk on the main road, putting them at significant risk from vehicular traffic.

Given the direct impact on public safety, I kindly request you to publish this grievance and urge the authorities to take immediate action to clear the footpath and ensure its proper usage for public convenience.
