Mysuru: Dr. B.G. Sangameshwara, Vice-Chancellor of JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, was conferred the CSI Fellowship Award by the Computer Society of India (CSI) at the 52nd CSI Annual Convention held recently at the Science City auditorium in Kolkata.

The award was presented to him for his outstanding contributions to the society in the field of Information Technology.

Dr. Sangameshwara,  a senior Life-Member of CSI, had earlier served as the Principal of SJCE, Mysuru and has more than three decades of rich experience in establishing higher educational institutions of engineering in the country and abroad.
