Mysore/Mysuru: D.A.V. Public School, Mysuru, celebrated its 22nd Annual day ‘Shishirotsava’ on Dec.6 at the Open Air Theatre in Manasagangothri. Students from II std to X std showcased their talents.

Senior Journalist Amshi Prasannakumar, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the function by lighting the traditional lamp.

 President of Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) K.B. Lingaraju was present as guest of honour. Cultural programmes comprised various dance forms and themes which grabbed the attention of the audience including the dance drama “The Life Cycle of Hanuman.”

 School Chairman N. Sachidananda Murthy, Secretary R. Anand, School CEO M.A. Jayashree, Principal Kavyashree Basappa and Vice-Principal T.M. Kavya were present along with hundreds of parents who witnessed the programme.
