Dalit Sanghatanegala Okkuta has organised a Dalit convention on Feb. 25 at Freedom Park in Bengaluru. Disclosing this at a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday, Okkuta President Dr. M. Venkataswamy said that the convention would urge the government to fulfil various pending demands of dalits. He further said that a rally would be taken out from the Town Hall to the  Freedom Park at 10 am on that day and added that about one lakh people would participate in the convention from all over the State.
