Mysuru: The high-power Dasara Committee meeting will be held in Bengaluru on July 24 to discuss and plan this year’s Mysuru Dasara festivities. The meeting will be chaired by Chief Minister Siddharamaiah.

This will be the first Dasara high-power committee meeting that will be attended by Mysuru District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait, Mayor M.J. Ravikumar, ZP President Nayeema Sulthana, MLAs Vasu and M.K. Somashekar, Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep, Mysuru City Corporation Commissioner G. Jagadeesha, City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subrahmanyeshwara Rao, Superintendent of Police Ravi D. Channannavar and other officials.

The meeting will decide on the budget, extent of celebrations, Dasara Logo, Gaja Payana, the guest who will inaugurate the festivities, Dasara Committees to be constituted under elected representatives, a broad overview of Dasara programmes and other finer details.
