Vehicular movement restricted from  3 pm to 11 pm till Oct. 1

Mysuru: With Dasara festivities inaugurated atop Chamundi Hill this morning, various expos and events will also be inaugurated till late evening today.

In view on huge tourist influx to city from today till the grand finale Jumboo Savari on Vijayadashami Day (Oct. 2), there will be traffic restrictions from 3 pm to 11 pm on the roads where Dasara events are being held across the city, starting from today till Oct. 1 midnight.

Also, there is a ban on parking of vehicles on prominent roads in city from 3 pm to 12 midnight till Oct. 2 and vehicle users have been urged to follow instructions which have been put up by the Traffic Police on a majority of roads across the city to prevent traffic jams.
