Date extended for admission to pre-matric hostels

The last date for submitting online applications for pre-matric government hostels for boys and girls run by the Department of  Backward Classes for Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and SC/ST  and other communities for the year 2025-26 has been extended to June 25.

The limit of parental annual income is as follows- Category-1, SC/ST Rs.2.50 lakh, Category-2A, 2B, 3A, 4B and other Backward Classes and others Rs.1 lakh. Students can visit Department website- https://shp.karnataka.gov.in/bcwd to submit their online applications. For details contact helpline-   8050770004, 8050770005.
