Mysuru: With the annual SSLC exam (2024-25) scheduled to take place across the State from Mar. 21 to Apr. 4, Mysuru Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy directed the officials to ensure smooth, fair and organised conduct of the exam, leaving no scope for any lapses.
Presiding over a preliminary meeting at the ZP hall here recently, Lakshmikanth Reddy asked the officials to keep constant vigil on exam centres. Pointing out that there are 133 exam centres spread across the district, the DC said that the Police must provide security at all the exam centres for the smooth conduct of the exam.
“The exams to be held from Mar. 21 to Apr. 4 will be conducted in a strict manner with all necessary measures in place. A total of 37,904 students have enrolled for the exam in the district, including 19,114 boys and 18,790 girls. All the exam centres have been installed with CCTV cameras, with webcasting in place. Direction boards have been put in the exam centres for the benefit of students. Measures have been taken for providing drinking water, toilet and such other amenities to students”, he said and asked the officials to ensure incident free exams in the district, by following all Government guidelines, instructions and orders.
He further said that there will be 12 centres in H.D. Kote Taluk, 15 in Hunsur, 11 in K.R. Nagar, 19 in Mysuru North BEO Office jurisdiction, 15 in Mysuru South BEO office jurisdiction, 18 in Mysuru rural BEO office jurisdiction, 12 in Periyapatna, 13 in T. Narasipur and 18 in Nanjangud.
ZP CEO S. Ukesh Kumar, SP N. Vishnuvardhana, Additional DC Dr. P. Shivaraju, DCP M. Muthuraju, DDPI S.T. Javaregowda, DDPUE Mariswamy and other officials were present.
