Mysore/Mysuru: In a differently abled friendly initiative, the city’s Aradhya Agro Food and Beverages company, which has set up a stall at the ongoing Bahuroopi National Theatre Festival at Rangayana premises here, is offering Jaggery, Lavana and Beverages made out of tubers and roots for the physically challenged for free, while the elderly are getting them at a discounted price.
The owner of the stall told Star of Mysore that take home food articles such as Vangi Baath powder, Groundnut chutney powder, Neem powder, Bisibele Baath powder , a variety of juice packets and pouches etc., are being sold at a 10 percent discount only for the physically challenged and the elderly, during the festival. The products of his company has been in great demand and the stall is getting a very good public response, he added.
Meanwhile, students and staff of Shaktidhama visited Rangayana on Friday and went around several Melas organised as part of Bahuroopi and watched cultural programmes.
Rangayana Director Addanda C. Cariappa, the author of the book ‘Tipu Nija Kanasugalu’, visited the stall put up by the book publisher Ayodhya Publications and himself handed over a copy of his book to an elderly customer who bought it. He also had a brief interaction with him.
