District Administration, Zilla Pachayat, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports (DYES) and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan – National Service Scheme, Mysuru, have jointly organised District-level Yuvajanotsava programme at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in city on Dec. 3 at 10 am.
Classical dance, classical instrument (tabla, mridanga, harmonium, guitar), classical music – singing, mono-acting, extempore speech (pick and speak), folk songs and dance competitions have been organised as part of the event for youths aged between 15 years and 29 years.
Youths (boys and girls) of various Schools and Colleges, Youth organisations registered under DYES, Youth Councils and office-bearers of Rajeev Gandhi Yuvashakti Sangha are eligible to take part in the programme. Participants must carry copies of their SSLC marks card, birth certificate for the registration at the event venue on Dec. 3 at 8 am. Those who bag first prize at the District-level Yuvajanotsava will be eligible to take part in the State-level Yuvajanotsava.
