Dr. H.B. Devaraja Sarkar (88), retired Zoology Professor of Mysore University and a resident of Saraswathipuram, passed away yesterday in city.

He leaves behind two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this morning.
