Dr. T. Srinivasa (73), retired Professor and Head of the Department (HoD) of Mathematics at The National Institute of Engineering (NIE) in city and a resident of Kanakadasanagar, passed away following brief illness yesterday in city.

He leaves behind his wife Indumathi Srinivasa, two sons, brothers including Chartered Accountant T. Venugopal and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be held tomorrow (Jan. 29) at the foot of Chamundi Hill, according to family sources.
