Dy.CM DKS tees-off Kempegowda Invitational Golf Tournament

Shivamogga: Amidst his busy schedule and speculation over change of leadership in the State, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar (DKS) made time to tee-off the inaugural Kempegowda Invitational Golf Tournament at Kimmane Golf Resort, Shivamogga on Jan. 30.

The tournament organised for golfers of Vokkaliga community witnessed players from Mysuru, Bengaluru, Chikkamagaluru and Shivamogga taking active part. The event was organised with the objective of promoting the game of golf while fostering unity, camaraderie and healthy competition among the community.

The inaugural edition of the Kempegowda Invitational Golf Tournament marked a significant step towards encouraging sporting excellence and strengthening cultural bonds through sports. The tournament was organised by Advocate M.R. Surya Kumar, M.A. Madan Kumar, S.K. Srinivas and T.N. Shashi Kumar.
