Entrance test for admission to Residential Schools on Mar. 20

The Department of Social Welfare has invited applications to conduct entrance test for admission to 6th standard in residential schools like Morarji Desai, Kittur Rani Chennamma, Ekalavya Model, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Indira Gandhi Residential Schools for the year 2022-23. For SC/ST students, annual income limit should be Rs. 2.5 lakh, for OBC 1 students Rs. 2.5 lakh, for OBC 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B students – Rs. 1 lakh.  Entrance exam will be conducted on Mar. 20 (Sunday) from 11 am to 1 pm.

Interested candidates may submit their application forms online from Feb. 3 to Feb. 22. Hall tickets can be downloaded from Mar. 14 by logging onto the websites http://kreis.kar.nic.in and for more information, log onto http://kea.kar.nic.in, according to a press release from the Joint Director of Social Welfare Department.
