The Director, Department of Public Libraries, Bengaluru has invited applications from writers, publishers and publishing houses for selection of various books to the library.

Books belonging to literature, art, science, competitive exam, children’s literature, contemporary, skill development, income generation and other subjects in Kannada, English and other Indian language which were first published in the year 2021 are eligible for the selection process.

 Copyright of the book can be done at State Central Library in Cubbon Park, Bengaluru, before Jan. 31. Interested writers, publishers and publishing houses who wish to provide digital library service for public readers must submit a copy of self declaration letter, registration letter and soft copy of the book in CD format while submitting the application for the selection at the Director’s Office before 5 pm on Feb. 5.
