Mysuru: On account of World Environment Day, the 3 Kar Girls BN of Police Public School (PPS), Mahadevapura Main Road, Jalapuri, Mysuru, had organised various events under the guidance and support of ANO M.S. Geetha in the school campus recently.

The events included a rally around Police Quarters, highlighting the significance of afforestation. Cadets donated saplings to public ensuring that they take care of the plants and trees around them.

This was followed by the formal function witnessed by PI Staff of NCC, In-charge Principal of Police Public School Deena Uthappa and the ANO from Marimallappa School, Mysuru.

NCC cadets of PPS received their “A” Certificate from PI Staff of NCC and School Principal.

A skit was staged by the cadets to create awareness about Plastic Pollution.

This was followed by a power point presentation on importance of circular economy and growing needs of green hydrogen by Sudha, Head, Department of Science. This session was very informative and interactive for the young minds who participated enthusiastically.
