The Samaritans of Mandya and Syro Malabar Youth Movement are jointly organising an Essay Writing and Cartoon Competition with the slogan “Say No To Drugs” for school students at Infant Jesus Cathedral, Hinkal, on Nov.16 (Sunday). Msgr. Thomas Thennattil Augusthy, Vicar General, Diocese of Mandya will inaugurate the competition at 10.30 am. Fr. Jomon Kolenchery CMI, Chancellor, Diocese of Mandya will be the chief guest. Fr. Amal Edathil CMI, Asst. Parish Priest will preside.

The competition will be held in three categories: Standard 11 and 12 (Category-1),  Standard 8-10 (Category-2) and Standard 5-7 (Category-3).  Winners of each category will be awarded Cash Prizes, Trophies and Merit Certificates. There will be five consolation prizes in each category. Prizes will be distributed during the valedictory to be held on the same day.
