Farmers to clean Meenakshipura near KRS backwaters tomorrow

District President of Karnataka State Farmers Association Naganahalli Vijayendra has said that farmers have organised a cleaning drive at Meenakshipura village near KRS backwaters which was polluted by miscreants recently. The cleaning drive will begin from 7.30 am tomorrow, he added.

Speaking to media in city yesterday, he said, “It is the duty of everyone of us to keep our environment clean. Farmers of Mysuru taluk will participate in the cleaning drive.”

Mysuru Taluk President Anandur Prabhakar, General Secretary Mandakalli Mahesh, Secretary Chikkanahalli A. Raghavendra, Youth Wing President Maidanahalli Mahesh and leader Chikkanahalli Venkatesh were present at the press meet.
