Mysuru: A fight that erupted between two friends over a petty issue allegedly ended in the murder of one of them at Udayagiri on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Mudasir Pasha (34), a resident of Beedi Colony in Udayagiri Police limits and the accused is Rizwan, a friend of deceased Mudasir.

Mudasir and Rizwan were working as labourers and on Friday night they had slept near KCB Community Bhavan during which a fight ensued between them over petty reasons.

But at about 3 am on Saturday, Rizwan allegedly bludgeoned Mudasir with a concrete brick, resulting in Mudasir being killed on the spot, according to Police.

Based on the complaint from Mudasir’s mother, Udayagiri Police, who registered a case have taken Rizwan into custody and have interrogated him.
