Mysore/Mysuru: The Horticulture Department has invited applications from farmers to avail financial assistance under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana to buy Pheromone Traps used to grow horticulture crops.

Financial assistance up to 40 percent will be given to farmers belonging to general category to buy Rhinocerous beetle, red palm weevil, fruit fly trap, yellow sticky and blue sticky trap while for farmers belonging to SC and ST community 50 percent financial aid will be provided.

Under PM Krishi Sinchai Yojana to install drip irrigation, 75 percent financial assistance will be given to general category farmers while 90 percent to SC and ST farmers.
