Mysuru: K.R. Prakash (67), former University of Mysore (UoM) football coach, passed away at his residence in Vijayanagar here this morning due to illness.

He leaves behind his wife Mohana Devi, son Harsha, daughter Lavanya and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be performed at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam here this evening.

The office-bearers of the Mysore District Football Association (MDFA) and footballers have condoled his untimely death.
