Free medical camp held

Mysore/Mysuru: Millath Baitul Maal, in association with Victory Charitable Trust, Unity Charitable Trust and a private Hospital, with an objective of extending accessible and quality healthcare services to the underprivileged had organised a free dental, eye check-up and cataract surgery camp at Millath Baitul Maal, Masjid-e-Quba in Udayagiri here recently.

The camp was inaugurated in the presence of Karnataka Exhibition Authority (KEA) Chairman Ayub Khan and President of Victory Charitable Trust Amanulla Khan and others.

Medical services were provided under the guidance of District Surgeon Dr. Nayaz Pasha while Head of the Ophthalmology Department at K.R. Hospital Dr. Chethan led the eye screening and cataract evaluation services.

The camp witnessed active participation from specialist doctors, pharmacists and                              health care volunteers.

Speaking on the occasion, Amanulla Khan emphasised the Trust’s continued commitment to community welfare through healthcare outreach programmes, medical camps and free medicine distribution drives.

He highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts between charitable organisations to reach the needy effectively.

President of Unity Charitable Trust Noor Merchant appreciated the coordinated efforts of all organisations involved and stressed the need for sustained community-based health initiatives.

President of Millath Baitul Maal Sardar Ahmed and Secretary Dr. Ataulla Shariff, along with other managing committee members, played a key role in organising the camp and ensuring                             smooth coordination.

Free consultations, diagnostic screenings, medicines and referrals for cataract surgeries were provided during the camp. Residents expressed their gratitude for bringing essential healthcare services to their doorstep.
