G. Narasimha Murthy

G. Narasimha Murthy (84), retired Civil Engineer, specialising in dam construction and a resident of Tapovan Solace Apartments, passed away yesterday in city.

He leaves behind his daughters Vidya Rao and Krupa Murthy, granddaughters and a host of relatives and friends.

An avid Golfer & Bridge player, Narasimha Murthy founded JWGC Engineers Golfing Association and Mysore District Bridge Association. His notable achievements include construction of an aqua duct in Iraq and Idukki Dam in Kerala.

Last rites were held at Chirashantidhama in Gokulam today.
