‘GEETHAYAANA-2023’ at GSSSIETW: Annual Techno-Cultural Fest from June 8 to 10

Mysore/Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW), Mysuru, is celebrating the Annual Techno-Cultural Fest ‘GEETHAYAANA-2023’ from June 8 to 10. This Annual Fest provides a platform for students from various Engineering Colleges to showcase their talents.

GEETHAYAANA-2023 will be inaugurated by chief guest Dr. Raj C. Mohan, Director, Cloud Services, Kyndryl, Bengaluru and guest of honour Addanda C. Cariappa, former Director, Rangayana, Mysuru, at M. Govinda Rao Memorial Hall, GSSSIETW, Mysuru, on June 8 at 10.30 am.

Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy, President, GSSS, Mysuru, will preside. Vanaja B. Pandit, Hon. Secretary, GSSS, Mysuru, R.K. Bharath, CEO & Management Committee Member, GSSS, Anupama B. Pandit, Administrative Officer, GSSS, Management Committee Members of GSSS and Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, Mysuru, will be present during the inaugural.

Chief Co-ordinators Dr. M.V. Srinivasa Rao, Associate Professor and Head, Department of EIE, Dr. G. Sreeramulu Mahesh, Professor and Head, Dept. of EEE and Dr. M. Yogesh, Associate Professor and Head, Dept. of Mechanical Engg., HoDs, staff and students of GSSSIETW will be present on the occasion.

The three-day event is laced with various competitions. On the first day, technical events will be held which comprises Crossword Puzzle, Google Hunt, Blind Coding, Mini BuildAthon, Technical Quiz, Poster Presentation, Technical Idea Presentation and Computer Gaming Competition. Second day competitions include Duet Dance, Group Dance, Classical and Hindustani Vocal, Skit, Mime, Debate and Dumb Charades. The prize distribution will be held on the final day. The GEETHAYAANA-2023 journey will conclude with the grand event, Fashion Show & Miss Geethayaana.
