Sir,

This refers to the report “Get set for a bumpy ride this Dasara”  in Star of Mysore dated 3.9.2017. The pavement repair work near Kote Maramma temple has already been approved and the work was delayed due to intermittent rains. The work will commence shortly. The pavement near Varaha gate will also be repaired.

The repair works of Banumaiah Road and M.G Road are also tendered and asphalting works will commence soon.

Filling of potholes of various roads like road leading to Paduvarahalli Circle, Valmiki road and Kalidasa roads will be taken up and expedited. All the major roads will be repaired in a few days.

We would like to clarify that due to intermittent rains works were delayed, but all the road works will be expedited.
