Good initiative by City Traffic Police

September 24, 2020

Apropos the news item “City Traffic Police installs median reflectors, road reflector studs” (Star of Mysore dated Sept.11), kudos to City Traffic Police for initiating the installation of median reflectors and road reflector studs.

Medians erected on many of the roads are not visible during night hours. Installation of these median reflectors is a long pending work from the City Traffic Police.

Earlier itself, along with the erection of the medians they could have planned to install these reflectors also.

Now with the reflectors installed, fatal accidents owing to poor visibility of the medians can definitely be reduced, especially accidents involving two-wheelers.
