Dream project

The Old Age Home was the dream project of late Ittira Parvathi Cariappa (Dotty), Founder-President and Advisor of Shree Kaveri Kodagu Mahila Sangha, who passed away on Sept. 13, 2021.

Former Krishnaraja MLA M.K. Somashekar had performed guddali puja to lay the foundation stone for the Old Age Home on Mar. 1, 2020.

The Old Age Home building has been constructed with munificent donations from philanthropists, elected representatives and Sangha members.

The Home, well-equipped with 7 rooms, dining hall, kitchen and a big hall, can accommodate 14 people. There will be a warden and a watchman too for the safety of the inmates. Doctors will be just a call away for those in need.

The Old Age Home (Shakthi Layout, near Maalegala Maramma Temple, close to University Layout, Nanjangud Ring Road), which is open to all communities, will be operational soon.
