Deve Gowda and Siddharamaiah are making efforts to revive their past as they had split on cast lines in the last 25 years.

In fact, the 2018 Assembly results where JD(S) managed to get a majority in Vokkaliga belt is termed as a vote against Siddharamaiah rather than that of the Congress.

The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has organised this tour after discussing with former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda.

On request from Congress leaders, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy is campaigning for Congress candidates in Chitradurga today and Bidar tomorrow.
