H.S. Shakuntala (82), wife of retired Yuvaraja College Principal late Prof. K.M. Veerappa and a resident of Saraswathipuram 9th Main Road, passed away yesterday in city.

She leaves behind three sons including MGP Member Banu Prashanth, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were held at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds this afternoon, according to family sources.
