Hoysala and Keladi Chennamma Awards

The Department of Women and Child Development has invited applications from children aged between 5 and 18 years for Hoysala Award (for boys) and Keladi Chennamma Award (for girls) for the year 2025-26. Those who have displayed exemplary achievement in innovation, scholastic, sports and arts/culture/music are eligible to apply. Eight children selected from the above four categories will be awarded a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 each along with a citation.

The prescribed application forms can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, Vijayanagar 2nd Stage, Mysuru. The forms must be filled in Kannada and submitted before Sept. 22 (by 5.30 pm) along with necessary documents. [Ph: 0821-2495432]
