Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha is organising a variety of programmes as part of 76th Independence Day celebrations on Aug. 12, Aug. 13 and Aug. 15 at its premises on JLB Road here.

Aug. 12 (6 pm): Playback singer H.G. Chaitra will entertain the audience with Hindustani Classical numbers along with Devarnamas Abhangs and Patriotic Songs. She will be accompanied on tabla by H.S. Gopinath and harmonium by Umakanth Puranik.

This is an endowment programme in memory of Dr. K. Srikantaiah sponsored by Dr. K.S. Chandrashekar.

Aug. 13 (6 pm): For endowment programme in memory of Dr. K.V. Manohar sponsored by Dr. Uma and Dr. K.V. Ravishankar, Vid. Keshav Chandra will present a Flute Concert. He will be accompanied by Vid. Keshav Mohan Kumar on violin, Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on mridanga and Vid. V.S. Ramesh on morching.

Aug. 15 (6 pm): For V. Raman Memorial Concert, Vid. Prasanna Venkataraman will present a Vocal Concert. Vid. Prasanna will be accompanied by Vidu. Sindhu Suchetan on violin, Vid. B.C. Manunath on mridanga and Vid. G.S. Ramanujam on ghata.
