Mysuru lad Suraj R. Prabodh taking part in the qualifying rounds of men’s singles in the India $F6 15,000 ITF Men’s Tennis Tournament Trivandrum, Kerala, won his final qualifying round match against India’s Paramveer Singh Bajwa 6-4, 6-0 to enter the main draw of men’s singles event yesterday.

In the first round Suraj beat another Mysuru lad S.D. Prajwal Dev 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 to progress further. In the first round of the men’s singles event main draw, which begins from today, Suraj R. Prabodh was to face eighth seed V.M. Ranjeet of India. In the men’s doubles event Suraj & Siddarth Vishwakarma will meet second seeds Mohit Mayur Jayaprakash & Vijay Sundar Prashanth in the first round.
