The Bogadi Road leading to Manasagangothri where Kuvempu statue is erected is badly in need of speed-breakers. Some motorists, especially two-wheelers, are driving at a rattling speed on this stretch. This in turn may cause serious accidents to the motorists coming in the opposite direction.

Accidents may prove fatal if there is no coordination between the vehicles coming in the opposite directions. This is a very serious matter, especially during peak hours when the University students and office-goers are plying on this stretch.

Hence I appeal to the authorities concerned to install a speed- breaker before any untoward incidents happen in this stretch.
