Mysuru: Mysuru Jayadeva Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. K.S. Sadananda has said that honest efforts of doctors and staff under the able leadership of the hospital’s Director Dr. C.N. Manjunath paved the way for the hospital to earn global name and fame.
He was speaking at the Ninth Foundation Day and the first anniversary of the new location of the hospital on KRS road here recently.
Pointing out that the Mysuru Jayadeva Hospital has been serving poor heart patients of Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Mandya, Hassan and other districts for the past nine years, Dr. Sadananda said that so far 1,17,428 patients were treated as outpatients and 9,868 as inpatients.
He further said that 78,948 as inpatient underwent ECG, 54,135 Echo- cardiogram, 10, 402 TMT and 11,874 patients got X-rayed in the hospital.
Hospital faculty Dr. Harsha Basappa recalled the guidance of Dr. Manjunath in the performance of open heart surgeries, angiograms and angioplasty.
He said that the huge growth of the hospital must be credited to every staff right from the Hospital Director to ‘D’ Group employees. The winners of various contests organised on the occasion were distributed prizes. Hospital Medical staff were present.
